About
Built by a researcher, for researchers. The platform exists because the founder needed it.
The platform exists because the founder needed it. As a doctoral candidate working on AI-augmented research methodology, the available tools fell short. General-purpose AI assistants lacked methodological discipline. AI search tools stopped at literature discovery. Reference managers organized citations but did not guide research.
Instead of waiting for someone else to build it, Bradley W. Petersen built Orbis Scientia. Eight months of pre-release testing on real research before public release. Two peer-reviewed conference proceedings. The platform is the instrument, the research program is the science, the publications are the evidence.
Bachelor's and Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. 40 years building and implementing mission-critical systems for the healthcare industry.
Two healthcare technology exits: Total Benchmark Solution to Kaufman Hall and Madison Dearborn Partners, and VHA business intelligence to IBM Watson Health. Process consulting at Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and Ascension Health.
Now a doctoral candidate at Daniels College of Business, University of Denver. The combination of engineering rigor, enterprise technology experience, and active doctoral research shaped every aspect of the platform.
Orbis Scientia is the parent entity for a portfolio of research and AI products.
The AI orchestration infrastructure that powers Orbis Scientia. 100+ AI models, standardized interfaces, enterprise-grade reliability.
